You probably had trouble accessing [#Fosstodon](https://fosstodon.org/tags/Fosstodon) for the last few hours. That's because we have (and still are) the target of a DDoS attack. Fosstodon was the target, but other Masto.Host customers were impacted because of it (sorry about that, folks!)

Unfortunately, we've had to take the decision to put Fosstodon behind [#Cloudflare](https://fosstodon.org/tags/Cloudflare) to mitigate the attacks. I don't like it either, but we need to do what we can to keep the lights on.

So far I'm impressed with the results and I'm considering subscribing. But they had an outage yesterday which lasted HOURS, and because their extension basically intercepts and redirect any search traffic, I couldn't just visit DDG and search. I really hate how Mac Mail bundles “conversations”together. It does it \*\*only\*\* by the subject line. So if more than 1 person emails me in response to a post, that shows as a conversation, even though the 2 emails are unrelated and each person wasn’t included on the other mail.
