Got another "blah blah has settled because of their breach" and I wish that there was an option for these to say "I find these lawsuits pointless and ridiculous. Shit happens. Unless there was gross negligence involved then there's no point in pursuing these. It's a waste of time, as is the credit reporting band-aid you're proposing. The only folks who win are the lawyers and quite simply I think they have better things to worry about than these types of cases."

I love reading reviews for a restaurant that my dad, JoDee, and I ate at. We all came to the same conclusion: that the food was basically Wonderbread "Mexican" food with no spice and no flavor. the number of folks that are raving about this place is just laughable to me. I remember interviewing for a position with a company that wanted to branch out into autonomous vehicles. I've worked in automotive, though not on anything directly related to building cars themselves, and I can tell you that building a car is something that takes decades to perfect. Some companies take some shortcuts and get to shipping vehicles in less than a decade but they should be treated as anomalies, not the norm.
